Welcome to the American School of Barcelona Electronic Curriculum
Communication with parents is a vital component of an effective school. This
electronic link allows parents to access our school-wide curriculum to ensure
understanding of the content and skills being taught in every grade level and
subject area at ASB.We believe that school-wide curriculum must be based on a
coherent framework of Standards and Benchmarks. These Standards and Benchmarks
must be sequential and dynamic to meet the needs of our unique students. Since
our curriculum is designed to be responsive to the different learning needs of
our students, it will be actively and continually improved. We are dedicated
to using exemplary educational practices to provide students with a strong
academic foundation. ASB has a curriculum review process in place to review
Standards and Benchmarks to ensure alignment and to avoid repetition or
redundancies.
The mission of the American School of Barcelona is to fully develop
each student's unique potential by providing a high quality American/Spanish
